 why the compiler for stellaris is called TMS470 compiler. Is TMS470 compiler universal what all controllers are covered.

    Saurabh,

    It is a legacy naming issues.  The TI ARM compiler was originally developed many years ago to support our automotive ARM devices.  Those were branded as TMS470 and the compiler shell was given the same name.  The TMS470 compiler supports all of our ARM based devices.
