I just want to make sure I can code/compile in C++ with the Code Composer Studio. It appears I can, I just want to double check.
Thanks.

Hi Paul,
yes C++ should be fine. However, you may be interested in reviewing this wiki page regarding the level of C++ support offered etc.

Thanks, Lisa. I'll submit that as a valid answer when I get on my other computer. However, I'm wondering if TI has a development environment that is based on C++. I'm honestly not very good at programming (I'm trying to learn ADA for a work project), and I'm most comfortable with MATLAB or C++. I'd really like to take MATLAB code and convert it to C++ code for some of what I will need to be doing. So, do you (or anyone else) know of a C++-based development environment for the TI ARM-based microprocessors?
Thanks.
Hi again Paul,
If your plan is to use the Stellaris family, have a look at this post with a similar question. There is a version of Keil you may be interested in as well.

Lisa:
I'm not sure which microprocessor to use. I have a post in the ARM 35/37x forum with some requirements for what I'm looking for, but no one has responded:
Can you help me out at let me know which of TI's microprocessors would be best suited for my needs?
Thanks.
Hi Paul,
Unfortunately I am not the best person to be able to best guide you with product selection.
If you want an ARM microprocessor and don't feel you need a DSP then the only solution we offer is actually the Stellaris family.
If you do not need ARM, then I would say you should also look at the C2000 family.
The MSP430 I do not believe to be powerful enough for your application.
I would tweak a couple of the forums again or contact your local FAE or TI Support.

There is also an online selection tool if that might be of assistance.

I do hope that this will help and that you will soon get help! You could also contact and find your local sales office. Many times our distributors also keep FAEs.
Best Regards,
Lisa
Thanks, Lisa. I'll look into the C2000, because based on my research a year ago, I think the ARM processors are much more than I need. Thanks, again.
