Error with tidspssw and lmadmin on linux x64

When I try to start the vendor demon tidspssw I get the folowing error

(tidspssw) Vendor daemon can't talk to lmgrd (Cannot connect to license server system. (-15,570:115 "Operation now in progress"))

I am using lmadmin

the conssole.log is as folows

14:54:04 (tidspssw) FLEXnet Licensing version v11.4.100.0 build 50818 i86_re3
14:54:04 (tidspssw) lmgrd version 11.10, tidspssw version 11.4

14:54:04 (tidspssw) lmremove disabled

The server is a Debian 64 bit system

Dose any one have any clues?

Hi,

I haven't reached this issue yet, but searching on the internet I found an interesting FAQ entry at:

Please check the tips there and see if they help you.

Another idea that is mentioned in the forum post below is to start the server using lmgrd instead of lmadmin - however the issue reported is slightly different than yours, but it is worth a shot.

Hi Rafael

Thanks for the tips. I had already tried the ip6 fix with no success and as lmgrd is currently unavailable from the download site I can’t try it. I think the issue may be that the demon is 32 bit and my system is 64bit. Is there a 64 bit version of tidspssw available?

Their website has been offline for quite some time, therefore temporarily please download lmgrd from this link.

We don't have a 64-bit version of tidspssw, but I don't recall having issues related to this (in the past I tested my license server in a Ubuntu 64-bits).

Check the lmgrd and see if it helps overcoming this issue.

Tidspssw is working with the supplied lmgrd. Thanks for the help. If you work out the problem with lmadmin let me know and I will give it another try.
