I'm using CCSv5.1 for OMAP-L137 debugging with an XDS510.
My initial evaluation license + 90 day (?) extension period is coming to an end and the license tools tells me I can't have a further extension. I can only get quotes for CCSv4 licenses from vendors here in the UK, so it seems I'm out of luck to keep running with 5.1 until the official release in October and vendors add it to their stock.
Is there any way to get hold of a license key for 5.1 now? An extension key valid until official release will do, but I can raise a PO if I need to buy one.
Thanks,
Nick.
Nick,
All CCSv4 licenses work with CCSv5.1 beta, therefore you can purchase your v4 license today and keep working normally.
Check the topic below:
http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Licensing_-_CCS#Subscription
Therefore, if you place the order today you are eligible for a free upgrade when CCSv5.1 is released to production in October.
Regards,
Rafael
