Open/Close Project functions greyed out and unselectable

I am suddenly unable to open or close projects in my CC as they are greyed out. I have tried resetting my computer but it did not help.

    Charles,

    Those menu items are for opening and closing projects that are already in your workspace.  The actions are performed on projects that you have selected.  Looking at the screen capture you do not have any projects selected so they are greyed out.

    For example here similar to your screen capture I have no projects selected and the menu items are disabled.

    Now I have an open project selected and you can see the menu to close it is enabled.

    If I close the project (notice the icon on the left is different) and then go back to the menu you can see that the Open Project menu is enabled and the Close project menu is disabled.

    If you have other projects on your computer that are not currently part of your workspace you can use the "Import CCS Projects..." menu to import them into the workspace.
