TCI6616 simulator crash

Hi all,

When i am debugging in TCI6616 simulator, i am getting an error as Java(TM) 2 Platform Standard Edition binary has stopped working. I am using CCSv4.2 and my os is vista 32 bit. I also kept a scanned copy of error report that shown in eclipse.

can any one tell what it means..

    Hello,

    can you please provide me a bit more information.

    Did this start after a JRE update or some other installation/change?  One possibility might be JRE incompatibility.

    When do you see this error?  Many things you do in CCS?  Only this simulator?  Only the debugger?  Do you have a sense of what in CCS triggers it?

    Have you recently run CCS updates or made changes?  Have you tried a fresh workspace and or workspace folder?

    Hello,

    I did not done any java updates. I does not know what in CCS triggers it. Yaa i tried with a new workspace. I tried the reinstallation of CCS also.

    ok, can you please provide a bit further information so that I can see if we will be able to reproduce this here.

    Does this only happen in debug?  Ie when you try to launch?

    Have you been trying to run a code example?  If so, which one?  Which 6616 simulator/simulator settings have you used?

    What would also be useful is if you could zip/send the error logs/.dmp files generated.  These will contain the error messages that might help point us somewhere.
