Running A GEL Script When Suspending or Resuming

Hello,

I have a PMIC with external watchdog attached to my AM263P4 device. I would like to send an SPI command to the PMIC when I click Suspend and another when Resuming. The command disables and enables the external watchdog respectively.

I should think it's possible to write a GEL script to send an SPI command but is it possible to trigger that script from the Suspend and Resume buttons please?

If not are there other suggestions please?
