Configure RTA Statistics time units.

Hello,

I am using CCSv4.2.4 RTA Statistics Data feature. I need the results to be viewed in mili/micro seconds. The RTA Control Panel provides only ticks/time configuration options.

How can I configure it to specific time units?( Like in CCSv3.3)

    Hello Anatoly,

    That functionality is not supported in CCSv4. But it is supported in v5.

    Thanks for the response.

    The problem is that when I configure the units for statistics data from the default ticks to desired time option, this leaves the results in ticks ( the numbers are large, so it looks like ticks and not time unit, and it gives the similar results when the option selected is ticks).

    • Is this a bug? Can I be sure the results viewed in time units or ticks of core clock?
    • If I use the unit as ticks, is this a real core clock ticks? Like If I have 600MHz DM6435, can I rely on values of ticks related to this specific 600MHz clock to calculate time mannualy?

    The version of CCS I'm using is CCSv4.2.4 Platinum.
