CODECOMPOSER: How to resolve "Target must be connected before loading program" message?

Hi,

I see this error message when programming the target HW using the XDS110 debugger.

Texas Instruments XDS110 USB Debug Probe/CS_DAP_0 : Target must be connected before loading program.

CORTEX_M0P: GEL Output: Memory Map Initialization Complete

Despite the message, the FW successfully downloads and I can use the debugger to step through code. Can you tell me how to prevent this message? BTW We're running CCS 12.5 and building for the MSPM0G3507.

Please provide with your environment information.

Which version of SDK
Which version of MSPM0 CCS Support Package

Are you using standalone xds110? Did you try the on-board xds110 from launchpad before?

Hi Yuhao,

SysConfig 1.18.0

MSPM0 SDK 1.20.1.06

I'm using the XDS110 from a launchpad. I don't have a standalone debugger.

BTW This issue happens when programming our application FW but not for our bootloader FW.

Hi Bryan,

The environment looks good. Does that issue stop downloading? As you mentioned, the download and debug seems to be ok?

It may be the error from CCS. If this issue does not disturb your debug, please stay as is for now.
