CCS5 license file can not work in unbuntu 10.04.3 virtual machine.

One customer reported a issue saying his valid CCS5.0.3 License file in windows does not work for his CCS5.0.3 Linux version in unbuntu 10.04.3 virtual machine."The report is hostid does not match.

Customer reported even set MAC of unbuntu same as MAC of windows the issue can not be fixed.

Any advice?

Hi Yu,

Not sure if this post might be your customer but please have a look at the information in this post and have the customer check the following

- are they sure they are pulling the correct Host ID? (see post)

- have they tried the VM support files flexera provides? (see link in post)

- have they gone to the "myregisteredsoftware" page (see post) and added the hostid to their license file or managed their file there?
