about EmuPack with XDS100v3 support

i have make a XDS100V3,and i have do the manufacture's test, no error,in ccs5.1 i find the xds100v3 support,but i can not connect the ezdsp28335 target. in the xds100 wiki,i find this flow,but i have not find the EmuPack with XDS100v3 support ,can you  send me this pack to me,i want to test the xds100v3.my email is : lzgjxh@163.com

    The M7 (beta 1) release of CCSv5.1 contains the necessary emu pack for XDS100v3 support.  Which build of CCSv5.1 have you been testing with?

    i use CCS5.1.0.07001_win32,this release can not connect target.i will download M7 (beta 1) demo,and i will tell you my result.thanks a lot

    first thanks john ,i find i use the M7 (beta 1) release of CCSv5.1,but i can not connect my target.when i make my xds100v3,i use flow steps.

    1.i setup usb Programming the USB settings

    2.Programming the FPGA

    3.Manufacturing Tests and no errors.

    please tell me if i install  M7 (beta 1) release of CCSv5.1,i must install Additional SW patch required for XDS100v3 support,and i can not SW patch for XDS100V3 supports,in the xds100 wiki I find this .

    ,it will lost long time ,the debug led will light.i can not connect my target  the errors info is flow.

    Can you send a screen shot of what the emulator settings look like in the ccxml file or attach the file?  To show the settings you can open the file in ccs and then click on the advanced tab at the bottom and then select the xds100 emulator in the tree on the left and it will show the settings on the right.

    I can't comment on the loading time as I don't have access to an XDS100v3.  I will try to get one but that will be several days.

     

    Note that XDS100v3 emulators are really only meant for use with IEEE 1149.7 enabled devices.  From your website I see you support mainly our F28x devices.  These devices don't have 1149.7 so the XDS100v3 doesn't have any tangible advantages for these devices over XDS100v2.

    I am not having any issues with XDS100v3 and F28335.

    I am one of the example flash programs for F28335 that comes with ControlSuite.  The project is called "Example_28335_Flash".  I have linked my target configuration from above to this project.

    When I launch a debug session it builds the project, launches the debugger, connects to the device and flashes the program.  All of this goes pretty quickly.

    I also went into the flash utilities from Tools->onchip flash and I ran the erase flash utility.  That took about 20seconds.

     

    I went back in and swapped in an XDS100v2 instead of the v3 and it was marginally faster.  17seconds to erase the flash.

     

    If you have a specific program that is taking a long time to flash please zip it up and attach it to the thread and I can try it with the XDS100v3 that I have.
