CCSV4 indicates Version {0}

After a strange update process to CCSV4 (the update crashed at one point), the version of CCSV4 viewable through:

Help | About Code Composer Studio

is shown as "Version {0}" as seen here:

When I search for updates, no updates specifically for CCSV4 appear.  Without uninstalling and reinstalling everything, how might I ensure I have a proper and complete version of the application?

    Brent,

    You can check your product version by going to: ccsv4\eclipse\features\

    Look at the com.ti.ccstudio.product_version folder the "version" will be the version of CCS.

     

    Creating a new workspace or changing the shortcut that launches ccs to have -clean may help.

    Looking at the com.ti.ccstudio.product_version folder indicates 4.2.4.00033.  


    I was unable to get this version to be reflected in the "About" dialog box using either of the suggestions; but maybe at this point, it's not an issue?

    4.2.4 is the latest v4 release.

    If the product is working I wouldn't worry about it.  There is a 4.2.5 update later in the year but 5.1.0 will actually be out before then.  I wouldn't bother with a reinstall of v4 and would just want until v5.1.0 and do an install then.
