CCS3.3 to CCS4 migration

I have just upgraded to CCS4 from CCS3.3 and am having problems with running my XDS510USB emulator.

The message I get when I run is

C674X_0: Trouble Reading PC Register: Error 0x20010000/-2011 Severe Error during: RTDX, An internal error occurred in which an illegal action (0xC0C1C2C3) was requested while disconnected.

I notice that there have been previous posts with the same problem none of which seem to have been resolved.

I have turned off the RTDX in the .tcf file which makes this message even more strange.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Iain,

What version of CCSv4 are you using? If you are not using the latest 4.2.4, it is recommended to update to that version.

Does you application use RTDX (besides BIOS)? Are you opening RTDX channels on your own?

Hi Ki,

I have version 4.2.4.00033 of CCS4.

My application does not use RTDX and I am not opening any channels on my own.

It is only used by BIOS for real time data exchange.
