Hi guys!!

I am working with the CCS v5.0 like IDE and with OMAP3530 (multi-core architecture) like development platform. The communication between both cores is performed by means DSPLINK. I have followed step by step the user guide of DSPLINK and I already can run applications by means command line. The next step is to do the same in CCSv5.0 and later debug this application through multi-core debug mode. Someone have had some experience with this subject? Thanks in advance and regards

There is a wiki topic for multi-core debug. But it is for v4. However, much of the concepts are similar so it may be of use.

FYI: CCSv5.1 has made improvements in the multi-core debug experience. You may want to consider upgrading to v5.1

Thanks Ki-Soo Lee!! But I have a couple of questions:

Where can I find support for the new version of CCSv5.1? And another question: what improvements have been perfomed in this version for this subject (multicore debug)?

It is very interesting for me the debugging both cores simultaneously! Thanks in advance & regards

PD: Is there some tutorial step by step about how to congifure CCSv5.0 using DSPLINK in order to communicate ARM & DSP?

Unfortunately the v5.1 documentation is still a work in progress. There is no specific documentation that covers the multi-core debugging process in v5.1. But a lot of the concepts are similar to v4 so that should at least get you started.

I don't think there is anything specific to v5. But there is a lot of documentation on DSPLINK on the wiki:

I would also post in the BIOS forums for more help on DSPLINK.
