LAUNCHXL-CC3235SF: Error faced while adding Wolf Mqtt to ccs studio project

Hi,

For our project, we have included wolf mqttv5, and added the required libraries in the CCS studio project. We tried to run the wolf mqtt client example codes and we've also defined FREERTOS_TCP MACRO and currently we're facing the error shown below. Currently we're using TI CCS studio version 11 and CC3235SF development kit.

Kindly suggest on how can we rectify this error.

Hi,

Seems you are missing the FreeRTOSConfig.h.

Usually it is configured via the sysconfig mechanism. You should have FREERTOS in the common.syscfg file.

You would also need to add an environment variable in CCS under Windows->Preferences and then Code Composer Studio->Build->Variables as follows: FREERTOS_INSTALL_DIR should point to where you installed Free RTOS.

Thank you for your response. Actually We've already added FREERTOS_INSTALL_DIR to our project path and also freeRTOS config file is already present in the freertos_build_release package. is there any other reason why this error still persists.

Yes I can see it. As you can see below that it is present in the freertos_build_release package.

strange, maybe the include search path in the project properties do not include the path to this file.

Hi Shlomi,

Currently we're having three different projects in the same workspace which are interrelated to each other. So you're saying that there may be include path of this file is not included in the project.

the below is illustration of how our project is assembled in our workspace,

project_1 is where .c files of the project are included and in the project_2 the project applications runs which is connected to the hardware.

I don't think it is specifically related to how the projects are built.

By include I mean in the project's properties. See a capture for example with the syscfg in green rectangular.
