SdConfigEx v4 output window missing

Hi there,

I'm using SdConfigEx v4 to configure the XDS510 USB Plus Emulator of Spectrum Digital. I'm struggling with the emulator (see other thread) so I reinstalled Code Composer Studio. SDConfig was deleted and reinstalled as well. As you can see on the screenshot the output window in the software is missing but the option to show it is available. I cannot see if the emulator was reset successfully or if emulator test was passed. 

 

What can I do to make the output window reappear again? Thanks for any suggestions

    Jonas,

    That menu item works for me if I need to re-open the output pane in the Spectrum Digital SDConfig utility.  Could you by chance have undocked the window outside the main frame?  Perhaps it is showing up behind another window.

    Yeah, I tried different view files (the *.xml ones) but they all had no effect on my output window. I can't see an undocked window anywhere (even when I have just the sdopts window open). I think I'll contact Spectrum Digital and see if they can provide a satisfying solution.

    Hi Jonas,

    open regedit and go to:

    My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Spectrum Digital\SdConfigEx\1.00 and delete all the entries for "Bar State"

    That should reset the GUI.

    There were multiple "Bar State" Entries. I deleted all of them. Afterwards the Status the Output window reappeared when starting sdconfig.
