AM2634. CCS12.5.
By experiment, I found the breakpoint Skip Count is ignored if it is a HW breakpoint. i.e. It always halts the processor because Current Count never increments. Skip Count only seems effective for a SW breakpoint.
What is the reason for that please?
Regardless of the reason, if Skip Count is ineffective for a HW break point then perhaps Skip Count should not appear in the break point properties for HW BP and this point of difference should also go in the manual:
