CCSv5.1 Project -> Link files to Project

I just tried to link a file to my project. It took me a long time to discover how to do it!!! What happened to the option in the project menu? I think it was something like Project -> Link files to Project back in CCSv4. Can that be added back in?

For the record I was able to link in a file as follows:

File -> New -> Other
Select General -> File. Click Next.
Click on the project to which you want to link a file.
Click "Advanced".
Check the box "Link to file in the file system".
Browse to the file and select it.

This is substantially harder than it used to be! Granted, there are some nice capabilities like using variables, etc. but wow!

Brad,

If you right-click on a project and select Add Files, it will give you the option to either create a copy of the file (the older Add File) or create a link to it (the older Link File). Check the dialog box below:

This will show after you select the desired files. This was captured in CCSv5.1 M8 (I can't recall which version started this way of adding/linking files).
