  • Hi Alexander,

we have been having the odd person encounter update issues.

    What platform do you use?

What version of CCS v4 are you trying to update?  Is this from the latest production release?

Could you send and zip any error logs and .dmp files generated?

    http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Troubleshooting_CCS

Is it only the xdias updates giving an error?

    Best Regards,
    Lisa

  • Hello Lisa,

    here my reply:

    XDIAS (IDE Client) 7.21.1.03-eng

    XDIAS (Target Content) 7.21.1.03

(not current and different label style: XDIAS 7.10.0.06)

     Version: 4.2.4.00033

    Windows 7 Prof. 64 bits (x64)

"we have been having the odd person encounter update issues." - sorry i dont understand what you mean, maybe its a language problem on my side.

i dont know about any crash dumps or error logs.

its both current xdias components that raises the problem. nothing else.

    regards, Alex.

  • Hi Alexander,

I basically meant that you are not the only one seeing xdias update issues.  This is something I have seen myself recently.

If you look at this wiki page I sent you in the previous post, you will find the information of the logs CCS produces and where to find them.

    http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Troubleshooting_CCS

For now all that I can suggest is to deselect/ignore the update and install any others you would like.   There are one or two bugs already filed here regarding the updates.  The log files would still be very helpful for us.

    Best Regards,
    Lisa

  • HI Alexander,

I thought I would check whether there is an update to your enquiry.   Are you still seeing this issue?  Have you been able to locate the requested log files if so?

    Best Regards,
    Lisa
