Why CCSV5 has GIT instead of SVN and CVS ?

Hi all,

I am using  CCSV5.1.0.08020.

My question is why ccsv5 has GIT version instead of SVN and CVS  But CCSV4 has both SVN and CVS.

How can I add SVN sub version control plugin into CCSV5?.

    Hi Jagas,

     

    As CCS v5.1 is stock eclipse based, you can choose and install an SVN plug-in.  For example

    http://www.eclipse.org/subversive/

     

    http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/opensource/library/os-ecl-subversion/

     

    http://subclipse.tigris.org/

     

    Hope this helps.   Plug-ins can be installed in CCS under Help->Install new Software.  You can then input the site and bring it into CCS.
