Hello-

I'm working with a TMS320F28069 Piccolo DSP, trying to find a means of programming the flash without entering debug mode from Code Composer Studio.

App note SPRAAL3 (http://www.ti.com/lit/an/spraal3/spraal3.pdf) lists several options for programming 28xxx devices, including "Code Compser Studio On-Chip Flash Programmer". However, I don't see it in the Tools menu (per the app note) in my installation (CCS v. 4.2.3.00004 running on Windows XP SP3).

Is the On-Chip Flash Programmer still available in CCS 4.2? If so, how can I access it?

Are there any alternative (preferably stand-alone tools) available to flash the TMS320F28069?

The utility should be here:

<INSTALL DIR>\ccsv4\emulation\specdig\sdflash\bin\SDFlash.exe

You can also use loadti to flash the device from the command line via DSS:

Thanks Ki-Soo - I will try this out with the XDS100 and XDS510 hardware I have available.
