CODECOMPOSER: Build failing on RHEL 8 worked on RHEL 6

Part Number: CODECOMPOSER

Tool/software:

Trying to build software in CodeComposer 9.3.0.00012 with C6000 complier v7.4.24.

The CodeComposer installation is on RHEL 8.

The software won't build, it seems as if some of the needed libraries are not found in the compiler area.

Does this version of CodeComposer work with RHEL 8. I've inherited this software and was told the last time it was built was with the same CodeComposer in RHEL 6.

Hi Tim,

I've included our Linux Host support page for the CCS v9 release (https://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/documents/ccsv9_linux_host_support.html).

Can you read through and see if any of the information is relevant for your case?

In general, we officially support mostly Ubuntu distributions, but there is a chance that RedHat should work as well.

As Ricky already mentioned, we do not officially support RHEL so we cannot confirm one way of another.

What are the exact errors encountered when building?
