CCS full version

They may have told you to wait, because CCSv5.1 has not been released yet and it is not for purchase as of now. You can download the pre-release build and use that until it is released. We have a temporary license that you can use for it.

Once 5.1 is released, you should be able to obtain a full 5.1 license.

the promotion code is for CCS 4 only, not for CCS 5.

in either case, they should reply to me, however, they have not replied me for more than a month and I keep contacting them but no answer.

I really need the full license now, as CCS doesn't allow me to use extended evaluation anymore and we are working on 29027 in an intensive project now

the reason I bought one demo kit is just for the full version of CCS, now I don't have it and they don't even answer me.

is TI e-store a part of TI?

where can I log a serious comlaint?this has taken too much time and energy for such a simple thing.

Sorry to hear about the trouble you are having with this promotion.

I suspect that someone gave you an eStore discount code and you used it to order an N01D license for CCS.  Unfortunately that won't work.  If a discount code is used that makes the price of a download only product $0 then the order effectively doesn't exist.  Do you know who provided you with this code?  Can you click on my team and send me a private message with your email address?  I can see if someone can find a history of the order.

As Ki mentioned the release candidate for CCSv5 is available now.  There is a license for it on the download site that is good through the end of Dec that you can use.  That license file can also be used with CCSv4 if you really want to stick with v4.  http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Download_CCS

thanks for help and we really need your help to fix the problem.

I tried CCS5 before I asked for help, but unfornatelly CCS doesn't work with our computer(XP), then we tried to install CCS5 on a brand new computer with windows 7, it doesn't work either.

completely no run fro CCS5 at all and both run after installtion reported different errors and then closed down CCS5.

while CCS4 are working fine on both computers.

this is why I am very frustrated.

If you click on my name there should be a link on the right hand side to start a private conversation.  I also just sent you a friend request.  If you accept that then I can start one with you.  I looked into this promotion and someone is pulling lists regularly of people who used the codes and is sending them on to the CCS fulfillment team so that emails get sent out with the activation codes for a free license.  Once they have your email they can check if the code was sent.  

What types of error messages did you get when installing CCSv5?

I am going to delete the codes from the previous message.

on one computer it just say errors happend, then it closed CCS5;

the second one cannot run TI projects,showing many errors then close it.

I would try it later when I have more time.

I don't have similar problems with CCS4.
