code generation tool 5.2.6[C2000] not installed

Hello,

I installed CCS 2.2.4.0033 30-day version and run a TI demo, but it says "code generation tool 5.2.6[C2000] not installed ,please install the tool"

where can I find the tool?

is it supposed the version includes the tool?

I downloaded CCS many times and never found this problems.

Hi Harrison,

There is a link under Free Compiler Downloads from this wiki page to this and newer and older versions of the code generation tools for the C2000.

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Compiler_Releases

You will need a myti account to access them. Have you tried obtaining them by running the update?

yes I did try running the update, it still the same.
