XDS100 does not show up in Target Configuration

Hi,

I am trying to connect to Stellaris kits using the XDS100 as the JTAG interface.  When I go to target configuration in CCS, the XDS100 does not show up in the drop down menu.  I am using v3.2.4 CCS, and did a SW update.  I have also verified that I have the driver properly installed for the XDS100, and it displays correctly in  Device Manager.

Can you tell me how to do an update to CCS so that the XDS100 shows up as a option?

Thank you,

Lela

  • Lela,

I wonder if you have de-selected the XDS100 support during install... Can you verify if you have the file <tixds100v2cortexM.xml> in the directory below?

    <CCS_INSTALL_DIR>\ccsv4\common\targetdb\drivers

If not, you can run the installer and select the same directory. It will ask if you want to repair the existing install. Make sure you select the XDS100 from the options.

    Hope this helps,

    Rafael
