can't find my device variant in new project wizard

I just got a MSP430 launchpad and installed CCS 4. When I try to create a new CCS project with the wizard, my device (MSP430G2231) is not listed. What should I do? Is there something I need to install/update?

By the way, I'm using CCS 4.0.2.01003.

That is a very old version of CCS. Please update to the latest version CCS 4.2.4 to get support for these newer devices. You can update from CCS menu Help->Software Updates->Find and Install.

Thanks for the quick reply. I already ran an update once I installed the software. Maybe I'll uninstall it and install it again with a newer version. I got this version of CCS off of a school server. Thanks for the info.
