LP-EM-CC2340R5: CCS Theia keeps freezing on build errors

Tool/software:

I'm using CCS Theia version 1.5.1.3 running on Windows 10 connected via USB to a LP-XDS110ET and LP-EM-CC2340R5. I'm using the BLE data stream sample project and if I modify the code such that it generates a compile error, Theia will freeze indefinitely. The only way to recover is using the Windows Task Scheduler, killing the application then restarting. Are there logs that I can look at to figure out what's hanging?

Can you provide a screenshot of the entire IDE when the compile error and hang/freeze happens?

There's really nothing to take a screenshot of. The entire IDE goes black after freezing for a couple of seconds. Anything else I can provide that would help diagnose?

Provide the build log file. Check the project properties to see where it is generated:

Can you generate and attach the Eclipse debug console log? Please refer to the "Eclipse debug log" section of the below document:
