Debugging AM1808 in CCSv5 with CodeSourcery build

I think my previous post was in the wrong forum...

Anyone know how to debug a plain C project built with CodeSourcery in CCSv5? The XDS100V2 can run the code on the target, but breakpoints do not work. The target is AM1808.
