Hi Folks
Can someone please point me in the right direction for information on using GEL files to add items to the "Scripts" menu in CCSv4?
Ideally I'd like to be able to have some dialog boxes for users to set variables in.
Many thanks

Hello,
This should have the information you need:
http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/GEL
Also see slide 46 of the below on an example of how to add items to the "Scripts" menu:
It is the same for v4
Thanks

Hi Ki-Soo Lee
Many thanks for your answer
However these resources show only that it can be done, not HOW to do it.
I have found examples for emulation, memory map operations, etc, but all use menu select items. I can find nothing about sliders and dialogs and such.
For E.G To add a menu item that does something when selected:
menuitem "Device Calibration"
hotmenu Device_Cal () {
/* C code here that calibrates device */
}
I suppose that there is functions available to the programmer in the GEL files for this, but I do not know what they are, what they might be named, or where to find information on such.
Many thanks for your help.
Hi Toby,
You can search this info from the CCS help.
From the menu bar in CCS, Help->Search, enter "GEL slider" and click Go to search.
