Getting Started with CCSv4

Hi everyone,

I have recently started working on CCSv4 (with eclipse). I found that there are lots of options in WINDOWS -> PREFERENCES & Project Properties. Please tell me some useful links from where I can understand their purpose & function

    Hi,

    Unfortunately I could not yet find a comprehensive documentation that covers all options in the Preference properties, but if you hit F1 (Help) you can find information in several Eclipse options. Also, you can either search around on the internet or check the Eclipse CDT documentation page for explanations for specific options.

    If you refer to the TI options (compiler/assembler/linker, DSP/BIOS, etc.) then you must refer to its documentation available either in the help contents (provided with CCS) or in the TI wiki (check the links to CGT and BIOS in my signature below).

    Sorry for the lack of a good answer to this.

    For what it's worth, the help documentation that ships with CCSv5.1 has information on the main CCS properties. But in v4, you will have to access them as Rafael mentioned.
