Bug in CCS4 individual build properties

Whenever I change individual properties  of file ...say I changed the optimization to 03 to 02 level and later if I change predefined symbol for WHOLE project then these predefined symbols will not appear in individual file which is changed earlier ..this is very dangerous for programmer ...

please fix these issues in CCS4....

    Hello,

    What version of CCSv4 are you using? This was a known issue in earlier CCSv4 but should be fixed in 4.2.2 and later.

    Good question ....

    I am using  Version: 4.2.0.09000  ..But If I  update the my CCS to 4.2.2 then I will not be able to get the  target configuration

    "Blackhawk USB560 Emulator, 20-pin JTAG Cable"  this I can get only   Version: 4.2.0.09000 ... this is one more bug in CCS you can note down

    This connection is supported in later versions of CCSv4. I see it in my CCSv4.2.4 install.

    Looks like I updated this once and all those configurations disappeared .. please go through the following lines from the doc..

     

     Software Requirements

    1. CCS v.4.2.0.0.0900 installed. Do not accept updates of this CCS version.
    Note: You need these steps below activate DM816x (Netra) on CCS as it doesn’t come enabled by
    default, install CCS and follow these steps
    a. Select Custom Install option in CCSv4.2
    b. Click next
    c. Where you see a blank field (towards the bottom right of that window), enter this string
    <deleted by moderator>

     

    Can you please verify again how to get bacj those configurations

    I would recommend installing a fresh new CCSv4.2.4. There is BH560USB support and Netra support in that version.

     I just now updated ccs4 to CCS 4.2.4 .... again same issue persists... so it is not fixed at all ....It fixed the  target  configurations and all..

    but old issue is not fixed what I  explained earlier  about individual file properties

    Did you use a new workspace folder after the update?

    Yes it asked to update old workspace ..So I said yes to it ..and later I found these issues

    you said CCSv4.2.4. There is BH560USB support and Netra support..but I can see now CCSv4.2.4. There is BH560USB support and Netra support ...but not Netra simulator

    I don't believe the Netra simulator is supported anymore. I'll try to get confirmation on this.

    I got the seperate mail TI that there will not be any Netra simulator on either CCSV4 or CCSV5
