CCS4(0033) complains code generation tools that is not installed: 5..2.6[C2000].

I installed .0033, but all TI kits and demo do not work any more as it complains "this project was created using a version of code generation tools that is not installed: 5..2.6[C2000].

Actually I installed the full version of 0033, but it still complains.the license is a paid license.

Code Composer Studio is the Integrated Development Environment, as you know. And the installation of CCS comes with a set of code generation tools for the device families you choose to install. However, the code generation tools do have versions of their own and one can install different versions of the code generation tools independent of the CCS version.

It may be that the software associated with the development kits you are using require a specific version, or later release, in order to properly compile and run. You can download different versions of code generation tools, install them, and then point a given project to use that particular version of code generation tools.

CCS v4 automatically looks for newer versions of the tools.
