Tool/software:

I have installed TPS65386xx GUI on my PC (Windows 11 Pro 64bit ).

The GUI starts, but I can not connect to device, no serial port found:

The serial ports are detected and configured as COM11 and COM12, but I also notice as 3rd COM port which is not properly installed (Virtual COM Port):

Do I have to install as specific driver for this COM Port?

Where can I find it?

Hi Fabrice,

Usually there shouldn't be need to install anything additional. We have seen that some computers might have driver conflict and that is way GUI is not seeing COM port.

Installing https://www.ti.com/tool/UNIFLASH has helped sometimes in this situations.

Hi Jari,

I already had UNIFLASH installed on my PC.

I have updated to last version (8.8.1), but still have same issue.

Hi Fabrice,

Have you tried to remove all additional USB devices connected to computer?

I think it might be some weird driver thing which rarely happens but see below one E2E thread about similar topic. Let me know if this helped.
