Slow memmory access using CCS5.1

I'm running CCS5.1, the release candidate, in Linux, and I notice that the memory access in Debug mode is very slow.  CCS4.2 was much faster.  Could this be because I'm using a XDS510USB emulator?  Would upgrading to a XDS650v2 speed things up?

    Were you using some CCS 4.x Linux build? Or are you comparing against CCS 4.x on Windows? An XDS560v2 is indeed faster but an XDS510USB is pretty decent and should provide adequate performance

    Previously I was using CCS4 in Windows and the memory access was much faster.  Why would the Linux version be slower?
