How connect TMS320F28035 with cc 3.3 in w7

Hello

I want to use the board TMS320C200 with DSP28035, by using the JTAG XDS510LC ubs emulator, to connect with my laptop (windows 7).

My problem is the following: When I try to do the set up in CC v3.3, there is no connection available for the 28035. The nearest is the 28335, but I don´t want to use another one.

Does anyone know how could I configure the code composer to recognize my DSP?. Or may I use another version of Code Composer (but, i have no idea of which one should I use...)

I hope you can help me, because I have been trying to connect in hundreds of ways, but I can´t get the answer

Thanks

  • 28035 should be supported with CCSv3.3. What is the full version number of your CCSv3.3 installation?

Note that Windows 7 is not officially supported by CCSv3.3. Some people have gotten it to work fine, others have had various issues. It is recommended that Windows 7 users move to the latest CCS.

    Thanks

  • Hi, and after all, thankyou very much for your help!

In the next image, you can see the number version I´m using:

I don´t know how CC v4 or uppers works, that´s the reason of trying to work in w7 with this old version of CC.

Should I try lastest version of Code Composer?, if this version works with my DSP and Board, obviously

    Thanks!!!

  • You do not see the below option available?

We always recommend talking the latest version (which is version 5.1). But be aware that CCSv5.1 looks much different than v3 so if you are familiar with v3, there will be a big learning curve to get used to the new environment.

    Thanks
