CODECOMPOSER: CCS Theia Update Consistently Fails

Tool/software:

Whilst attempting to update from CCS Theia 1.5.1.3 to 20.0.1, the following error is seen as the update attempts to close CCS:

Is this a know issue?

What can I do to work around the problem and get the later version installed?

    Note that there is no incremental update path to CCS 20.0.1 currently. The update you are installing is for CCS 20.0.0. I did try this in my environment and it was successful. I brought this thread to the installer/update experts for further analysis.

    In the mean time, I would suggest doing a full install for 20.0.1.

    Thank-you, installing 20.0.1 in full worked, and I now have both installed which also seems to work fine, just wanted to compare some behaviour between the two.

    v20 seems more stable, and I no longer get a TI cloud error every time my machine locks with CCS open.

    Yes, this was a big issue with CCS Theia 1.5 that we worked on for CCS 20. Glad to hear it helped.

    Hi Chris,

    We are investigating the upgrade issue, I am wondering if you get the User Access Control (UAC) popup when you run the full installer (ccs_setup_20.0.1 executable).
