Hello frineds,

Iwant to know the Linux OS support for CCSV5.1(OMAPL138 EVM, XDS100V2) for the following,

1. CentOS (Which is built up on Red Hat Linux)

2. Ubuntu 11.x

I am planning to move to Linux environment from Windows7 and I need some guide lines from Texas Gurus.

Dear Ki-Soo,

I quickly gonme through the link.

I found about Ubuntu 10.x version support but could not confirm for 11.x version which I plan to use in our University campus.

Also I want to know about centOs support.

Mahesh,

As mentioned in the link, there are many different Linux flavours out there and we can only test on a small number of them. All we can say is that CCS should support most Linux distributions that is LSB 3.1 compliant and higher and check that your Linux distribution has the libraries that CCS is dependent on.

I do expect Ubuntu 11.x to work since a few have used that version with CCS. I can't comment on centOs.
