I would like open two debug session in the same CCS instance, In particular, I have two projects, and I need to debug each of them on its respective launchpad at the same time.
I'm using CCS 20.x and I did one workspace with two folders for each project.

Yes, this is possible. CCS 20 supports the same functionality as described in the link below:

The above document is for CCS Eclipse but the same functionality exists for CCS 20.
Like in the above, run xdsdfu to get the serial numbers for the two launchpads:
Then create a custom target configuration with the advanced editor:
Add an XDS110 connection type for each launchpad and make sure each connection has the serial number for the launchpad it is associated to.
Then do a manual launch of the target configuration file:

I can't figure out how to do it. I start debugging by manually launching the target configuration file with 'Start Project-less Debug'. Then, in the Threads view, I see the cores, and by right-clicking on a single core, I select 'Connect Target'.
I do the same for the other cores and then run, but I can't debug in a way that lets me follow the code flow.
I configured the launch.json file as indicated in the user guide, but it still doesn't work.
Is there anything else I can try to fix this issue?
