CCSV5 and CCSV4 on same machine

Can I have CCSV4 and CCSV5 installed and running on the same machine?

    I'm running CCSv4 and CCSv5.03 currently. Dont see any issues atm.

    Yes you can do this.  if you are an MSP430 user one thing you will need to do is downgrade the firmware on your USBFET if you want to switch back to CCSv4.  There is a menu item on the windows start menu for doing that.

    Hi,

    Just to add to the others' responses, I would install it in a different directory so you can test it without any trouble (you can always uninstall the previous version at a later time if needed). Also, when running the newer version you should create a different workspace so you don't risk losing any work you are currently doing (you can always import the projects from your other workspace).
