CCSv5.1 cannot connect to DSK6455

Hi,

I am experiencing quite a frustrating problem.

I have installed and validated the ccs5.1 on my linux machine.

I have connected the the DSK6455 through the XDS510 emulator and run the ccs.

I have created a new ccs project and in the ccs project menu at the device section what a I can select is:

under family:

ARM

C6000

when I select C6000 what I see under variant is:

Generic devices

TMS320C64XX

if I select the TMS320C64XX variant on the adjacent menu all I see is:

EVMC6474

EVMTCI6488

where is the DSK6455???

I have checked under boards and found a dsk6455 directory and a gel file inside along with many others boards,

the problem is I cannot select any of them.

Any idea on what might be the problem?

any help is much appreciated

BR

Carlo

  • Hi Carlo,

CCS has device support for 6455 in creating a target configuration. But it does not have support for it from a project build properties standpoint. Hence you can select the 6455 in the target configuration editor but not when creating a project.

    Thanks
