Cannot upgrade to CCS v5.1 from CCS v4.0

I received email from myRegisteredSoftware@ti.com with the instructions on how to upgrade to CCS v5.1. But I can't follow the instructions, because after I click MANAGE button UPGRADE button does not appear. Can somebody help me with this issue?

  • Hi Igor,

    what exactly do you see?  I assume you have a current subscription?   It may be that I have to direct you to our license support team. Did you select the correct license in the case you may have more than one?

    What happens when you select manage?

    You should get a new page with your license info plus this under it ... note the Upgrade-Get New License.  Please keep us informed.

    Do you have a manage button to the left of the license type?   Is there a manage button to the left  of CCSTUDIO 
    TMDSCCS-ALLN01D-v4.0 ? 

    What do you get if you select "Get a Replacement License"?

  • I do have a Manage button. I installed CCS v5.1 and tried to use a Replacement License. The message that I get under Help->CCS Licensing Information says that the license is only valid under CCS 4 and I need to upgrade the license. Trying to upgrade the license from the CCS brings me back to the registered software page.

    did you press that manage button?  This is where the upgrade should be. 

    When did you purchase CCS?

  • I did press the Manage button. I don't remember when CCS was purchased, I am not manages purchases, but the subscription has active status.

    ok, from your screen shots it looked like you might have been one click behind.   For me on the screenshot you show, there is a manage button to the left of my license.  That is where I get my upgrade.

    I would suggest getting help from our license team.  Please expect delays as they are quite busy.

    I would send an email to  ccs_license_file_help@list.ti.com.  They will be able to take things from here.

    I do have a Manage button to the left of my license. The screenshot I sent I see after I click on it. I will send e-mail to the license team.
