Trying to install CCS for an MSP430FR2355 to use for school assignments, but I keep getting the below error:

“CCS_ERROR: Unable to install repotype executable

Can someone please help me fix this? I need CCS for school assignments.

Forgot to specify, but the version is 11.2.0.00007

Hello,

This is a known issue that existed with CCS Eclipse based releases. A root cause was never found. We believe that CCS Theia based releases like CCS 20 do not have this issue (though that is not 100% confirmed). Would you be willing to try CCS 20? Note that CCS Eclipse based releases are no longer supported so we do recommend all users to move to CCS 20 if possible.

I can’t. Class requires use of the Eclipse system. Is there some sort of workaround to get it to work?

Would you also be willing to try installing CCS 20 anyway? We are curious if CCS 20 has the same issue.
