CCSv5.1 building imported project ERROR

In ccs 5.1 ,  i import  post_evmc6678 project and can not built.  It  gives this error:

.cfg file is does not exist

However, in ccs 5.0 , when i import   post_evmc6678 project,  it built succesfully. it does not need to find .cfg file.

Post_evmc6678 project is under the mcsdk folder.

  • Hi MIthat,

there are a couple compatibility issues we are looking into regarding the stand alone MCSDK for v5.0 and the built in version in v5.1.

The best thing might be to uninstall the MCSDK and reinstall it deselecting the MSA.  Please see this post.

Please keep us informed whether this helps solve your issue.

    Best Regards,

  • Hi Lisa,

i reinstall MCSDK with deselecting MCSA,  but  it gives the same error.

CCS 5.1,  search  and does not find  .cfg  file.

CCS 5.1 does need to .cfg file for post_evmc6678 project.

    Mithat.

  • Hi Mithat,

It is MSA you need to deselect.  If that is not what you meant, please give that a try.  Also, does the project have all basic required options selected?  Device, platform, code generation tool version or are their blanks in the basic settings?  Have a look in Project->Properties in some of the main tabs such as Build etc.

    Please keep us informed.

    Best Regards,

    Lisa

  • Hi Mithat,

I just thought I would check whether there are any updates with your enquiry?  Was the tip useful?

    Best Regards,
