AM1808 Performance: Emulated Floating Point

I was wondering if there were any performance numbers available for the AM1808 with regard to its emulated floating point math. I am specifically interested in single-precision basic algebra.

Eric, unfortunately there is no ready data that I'm aware of. But if floating point performance is a concern, may be you need to consider OMAPL138 device. That is pin compatible and also included floating point DSP

I was hoping that it was the sort of thing Marketing would have at their finger tips: Yes, the AM1808 can emulate floating point, but the OMAPL138's hardware implementation is N times faster!
