CCS v5 license with CCS v4?

Hello,

I just started on a design team using CCSv4 for a project and I'd like to stay on the same version as the rest of the team for now. I just ordered a CCSv5 license, but am wondering if that license will work with CCSv4 until our whole team gets a chance to upgrade to CCS v5 after this project is complete.

Any ideas if that will work?

Hi,

I´ve tryed CCSv4 validating with CCSv5 license and it didn´t work.

But if you are asking about working a CSSv4 project with CCSv5 it works for me.

I got a license file for the V5 and tried to point CCS V4 towards it, but it didn’t seem to be accepting it…

Hi Paul,

I beleive a v5 license should allow v4 use. How did you try setting the v5 license up in v4? What type of license are the two licenses? Do you get any errors?

I was able to get a temporary license to bridge the gap until we can get to the CCS5 platform for the engineering team.
