CODECOMPOSER: Wait condition time out for setActiveBuildConfig command in Scripting Console

Part Number: CODECOMPOSER

Tool/software:

Hello,

I'm seeing some odd behavior in the Scripting Console for the setActiveBuildConfig command where it will timeout.  I was able to find a similar case of this where the project name needed to be appended with a ">" due to using git.  However even when attempting this we still see the same issue.  We also tried disabling the Label Decorations for the project but the issue persisted. Is this a known issue in some versions of CCS? The only similar case I could find is the one linked below.

https://e2e.ti.com/support/tools/code-composer-studio-group/ccs/f/code-composer-studio-forum/904197/ccs-javascript-fails-when-using-git-project

For reference the full error message we see is

Wait condition time out. (C:\ti\ccs1040\ccs\eclipse\configuration\org.eclipse.osgi\86\0\.cp\resources\javascript\project.js#44)

Thanks,
Ryan

  • Hi Ryan,

I assume you are using the older CCS Eclipsed based environment? Which exact version?

Also please note that Eclipse based CCS versions have been deprecated, hence support available for these version is limited. Also note that it is a local holiday today and Monday, hence responses may be delayed.

    Thanks

    ki

  • Hi Ki,

Sorry for the late response I missed the notification email for this thread.  We're using version 12.6 on this particular PC, don't see the issue on other setups likely with different versions.  We are looking to update to CCS v20 at somepoint here soon so if it's likely a versioning issue that should resolve itself.
