LAUNCHXL-F28P55X: Interrupt header of C2000Ware not accessible because of missing define

Part Number: LAUNCHXL-F28P55X
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE

Tool/software:

Hi!

I'm quite new to the Code Composer Development Environment. I started a project using the LAUNCHXL-F28P55X development board. In my project I am using the SCI peripheral. The headers for the SCI peripheral are all included and do work as expected. Now I wanted to add an interrupt handler for the SCI interrupt. For this I understand that I have to work with the interrupt.h header. The problem here is that I cannot use anything from the interrupt header, because everything inside is undefined by an #ifndef __TMS320C28XX__ . Did I do something wrong when setting up the project? Do I have to define this myself to make it work? I'm just a bit confused, why every other header is working except the interrupt header.

Thank's in advance!

Regards

  • Hi Matthias,

The __TMS320C28XX__ is defined automatically by the C28x compiler when it is invoked, so you shouldn't need to define this yourself. Have you tried building the project? Are there any errors? How did you initially set up your project? Did you start from the empty project in C2000ware? (this is located in the path: [C2000ware install]\driverlib\f28p55x\examples\empty_projects\.)

    Best Regards,

    Delaney
