Hi,
I have the CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL and installed the CCS 20.1.1.8__1.7.1.
The launchpad is correctly detected by CSS
but when I try create a new project I get the error Device-id 'CC3220SF' is not recognized
I've checked the Supported products & hardware and CC3220SF is listed as supported device.
What is wrong?

Thank you for the claryfication.
I think TI should update the information about the new IDE.
If you open the download page for the latest CCS you can open the Supported products & hardware table.
where the CC32XXs are listed...

Please note that is says "most"
And to click on the product details page. When you click on WiFi and CC3220SF to go to the product page and select the "Download options" button:
It does go to the CCS 12.8.1 download link.
That said I agree that it is a bit confusing. We'll see if we can clean things up a bit.
