I am experiencing a persistent issue with Code Composer Studio (CCS) version 12.8.1 on Windows. Whenever I open Resource Explorer, the panel continuously refreshes and displays a “Task Updated” overlay, making it impossible to browse or import any resources or example projects. The overlay never clears, and Resource Explorer remains unusable. If I somehow get to the project and try to import, the entire application becomes unresponsive. I have to force-quit CCS via Task Manager.
Troubleshooting Steps Taken:

Cleared CCS and browser caches

Restarted CCS and the computer

Checked network and proxy settings (direct internet connection, no proxy)

Uninstalled and reinstalled CCS 12.8.1
Despite these efforts, the issue persists. I have also confirmed that my internet connection is stable.
