I'm attempting to evaluate CCS v5 and require to use it with legacy compilers of various versions. At present I wish to try to use it with TMS320c55x C compiler version 2.56 - is there anywhere available where I can download this old version of the compiler. I cant use the live update facility on CCS due to company restrictions so need to download manually (via my.TI I guess).
Thanks
The compiler tools are available for download from here:

As you can see, the oldest C55x codegen tools available here is 3.2.x. Are you sure you are looking for v2.56? I didn't even see that version in our internal releases as a valid version.
C5500 2.56 was created in Jan 2003. It's no longer available for download from TI. It has long since been superseded by updated tools.
For what purpose do you need the outdated tool version?
Thanks for the replies.
The compiler is needed to support a rather ancient product we have inherited - built with v2.56 according to the build records.
I suspected it was no longer supported. Guess its time to take the plunge and upgrade to something a bit newer.
Note that on ftp.ti.com/pub there are some directories with 2.76 (IIRC) floating around. Don't know the state and usefulness of these compilers.
